Webinar 19: Energy Efficient Residential Retrofits 21.04.2021 17:02

27-29.04.2021 online
Time: Germany 06:00 - 13:00 / Uzbekistan 09:00 - 16:00 / Kazakhstan 10:00 - 17:00
One of the main tasks of the PROMHOUSE project is the introduction of professional education for the training of real estate managers, work with colleges and the development of services in associations uniting management and service companies to provide vocational training and advanced training for small and medium-sized enterprises (MPS) in the field of housing management. ...
In July 2020. the project launched the training program for Trainers / Training for Trainer (ToT). 17 webinars were devoted to topics from the field of residential real estate management and were combined into modules - management, technology, building structures, energy efficiency, digitalization, etc. (for a description of the material, see the project website: https://uyushma.uz/meropriyatiya-mejdunarodnie / post / obuchayushchaya-programma-trening-dlya-trenerov
In 2021. ToT continues a series of measures to improve the skills of the target group - college teachers; experts who will be recruited by the managers' associations to implement their programs to improve the qualifications of the IPU; participants of the working groups of the PROMHOUSE project - ´Curriculum´ and ´Standard´1; active members of associations.
Energy Efficient Residential Renovation is the second three-day ToT webinar this year. “Energy Saving in Buildings”, “Energy Renovation of Housing Stock” are modern topics that a professional apartment building manager should be familiar with today. Improving the energy efficiency of housing stocks in the partner countries of the PROMHOUSE project, which consume 30 to 40% of the total energy consumption of these countries, is one of the priority tasks. The project's efforts are aimed at introducing these topics into the vocational training of housing managers. Therefore, we are offering this webinar for the above target group.
The webinar will address the issues of energy efficient modernization of large residential areas from Germany. In Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, it is necessary to look for ways to adapt the existing housing stock (buildings in 1960-1990) to the changing needs of urban residents, to take timely measures to support its technical and energy state. The experience of modernizing the housing stock of East Germany (the former GDR), which is very similar to the housing stock of the post-Soviet space, could become an example to follow.
The process of energy efficient modernization of residential buildings has already begun in partner countries and is irreversible. The webinar will present UNDP-GEF projects on energy efficiency in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The PROMHOUSE project, together with UNDP colleagues, plans to introduce this valuable experience into the educational process for training housing managers in professional colleges. Also, the participants will get acquainted with the state of affairs in the field of energy rehabilitation of residential buildings in Uzbekistan.
