On August 20, 2020 at 10:30 an online webinar was held on the topic: "Housemaster" Institute in Germany and Belarus.
The purpose of the webinar is to familiarize the participants with the activities of "Housemaster", the range of its tasks, competencies and professional training in Germany and Belarus. And also to organize a discussion on the implementation of the "Housemaster" institute in the efforts of the PROMHOUSE project partners - Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The webinar was organized jointly by the Eastern European Housing Initiative (IWO), Berlin, Germany, European educational centre for the housing and real estate industry, Bochum, Germany and the Association of Professional Managers and Housing Services Organizations, Tashkent, Uzbekistan within the framework of the EU project - PROMHOUSE.
The overall goal of the PROMHOUSE project is to stimulate private sector development and economic diversification in Central Asia by empowering and strengthening private companies in the field of housing management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The project has set up working groups in both countries to develop a professional standard for the Housemaster, for whom this webinar will serve as an impetus for their work.
The webinar consisted of two parts, before lunch there was part 1: HOUSMASTER IN GERMANY (speaker: Christian Thomas, lecturer at the Academy of the European Housing Education Center and Real Estate (EBZ), Bochum, Germany), which covered the following topics:

After lunch, part 2: SPECIALIST FOR INTEGRATED MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF BUILDINGS AND
STRUCTURES - HOUSMASTER IN BELARUS (speaker: Gennady Kalenov, Director, International Association of Real Estate Management (IAMN), Minsk, Belarus), which covered the following topics:
- INTRODUCTION (INITIAL SITUATION / HISTORY OF FORMATION OF THE "HOUSMASTER" SPECIALIST ON THE HOUSING MANAGEMENT MARKET IN BELARUS)
- HOUSMASTER'S COMPETENCES / LIST OF WORKS

After the end of the webinar, the participants were provided with presentations and additional materials on the topic. Also, on the telegram channel of the Association of Organizations of Professional Managers and Maintenance of the Housing Fund, a questionnaire is posted to evaluate the Webinar and develop recommendations for the next webinars.
