Since 2010, the International Association for Real Estate Management (IAMN) has been supporting the professionalism of housing management in the post-Soviet countries of Europe and Asia, and primarily in Belarus. In order to exchange experience between members of the Association during a pandemic, as well as to popularize and strengthen its political influence, it was decided to hold a number of colloquia on topical topics in 2021. IAMS acts as an online platform for communication between all stakeholders in the housing sector of the post-Soviet space and invites participants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to join the colloquia.
Energy Efficient Residential Renovation is the second three-day ToT webinar this year. “Energy Saving in Buildings”, “Energy Renovation of Housing Stock” are modern topics that a professional apartment building manager should be familiar with today. Improving the energy efficiency of housing stocks in the partner countries of the PROMHOUSE project, which consume 30 to 40% of the total energy consumption of these countries, is one of the priority tasks. The project's efforts are aimed at introducing these topics into the vocational training of housing managers. Therefore, we are offering this webinar for the above target group.
In order to improve the professionalism of housing managers within the framework of the PROMHOUSE project, a training program “Training for Trainers” (ToT) was developed. The first phase of the program for seven training modules was implemented online from October 12 to December 16, 2020 and amounted to 48 hours of training. The total number of hours of the entire program is 256.
09-10.12.2020 within the framework of the German-Belarusian project "Development of tools for interaction and intersectoral cooperation for professional real estate management" was held an international webinar "Interaction between sectors in the energy modernization of residential buildings." The event was organized by the International Association of Real Estate Management (IAMN), Minsk, Belarus.

The focus was on improving the professionalism of housing managers. First of all, it is necessary to have competent teachers and trainers to ensure the quality of teaching. Teachers are responsible for the development of new curricula, the provision of highly qualified vocational training, innovative teaching methods and the application of European instruments, approaches in vocational training.
